World’s Longest Glass Bridge, 590ft High, Opens In China – Tourists Too Scared To Walk It!

What can be more fragile than glass? What can be more terrifying than a tall bridge over a wild canyon? Easy – a glass bridge over a canyon. Chinese authorities have replaced an old wooden bridge with a modernist glass one.

Not more than 11 people worked on it. It can be visited in Hunan – Shiniuzhai Geopark. Located almost 600 feet above the ground, the flooring consists of one inch thick glass. As you can see everything through the floor, the bridge is terrifying. Tourists refer to it as the “hero bridge”, so many of them would rather be average people than heroes.
