These days, plenty of Americans commemorated the 9/11 victims, as well as the two towers taken down in an attack. To some people, these days represented a good choice to celebrate Bretagne – one of the first dogs responsible for searching and finding survivors among the ruins.
Believe it or not, the heroic Golden Retriever has just celebrated her 16th birthday. Back then, she was only 2 years old. It was the first mission. These days, Bretagne is cared for by Denise Corliss. The dog retired in 2008. Today, she enjoys her elder years in a calm and loving environment. The birthday party was spectacular.
