A German photographer named Ines Opifanti, has done a series of photographs on the expressions of dogs compared to their owners. Almost three years ago, he adopted a puppy and noticed her amazing ability to create human-like facial expressions.
Soon, he wondered if it worked the other way. Could humans read dog expressions? He posted a request to a dog-centred Facebook group. He received 30 replies. He took pictures of the dogs. The Owners had interacted with them, to let him see how the dogs’ expressions changed. After that, the owners mimicked the dogs, and he noticed that owners are good at copying their pets.
