Women’s equality day is celebrated every year on August 26th in the US, and it also commemorates the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, grating women the right to vote.
Though introduced in 1872, this Amendment was certified in 1920, and since 1972, the President has proclaimed that this day should be Women’s equality Day.
On this day, we should really remember and applaud a long list of women who have done great feats, both big and small, and have made the “Women Community” proud. Their accomplishments have made the World a better place where we live in today. Kudos to Women!
