Video: This 8-Year-Old Boy With Cerebral Palsy Beats The Odds To Complete A Triathlon!

Cerebral Palsy, a condition wherein there is a movement disorder that can’t be helped with, was something that could not stop 8 – year – old Bailey Matthews, from crossing the finish line of the Castle Howard Triathlon. The trident of events consists of a 100m swim, 4,000m bike rise and 1,300m run and can see the fittest fall prey to it.

Much like his father was his inspiration for him to complete the Triathlon, he has become an inspiration to many. His spirit, will, courage and undying resolve is something beyond what words’ can appreciate. He stumbles and tumbles, but never gives up! Salute to you, Sir Bailey.
